Cobra Protective Barrier - Design and Operating Principle
Cobra protective barrier is a further development of the Cobra protective barrier and its reinforced version. Just like the Cobra barrier, the protective barrier is based on a frame made of Egoza Super barbed wire strips stretched parallel to each other between the spikes of the protective elements. Egoza Super barbed wire is wound in a spiral over the frame (or a Egoza Super spiral safety barrier is stretched). The spiral is attached to the frame at the intersection points using special clips made of galvanized steel tape. The entire frame rotates freely or forcibly around its axis using 8 bearings.
The main difference between the Cobra safety barrier and the protective barrier of the same name is the presence of an internal frame, on which a spiral of Egoza Super barbed wire is also wound or a Egoza Super spiral safety barrier of the corresponding diameter is installed. This frame has the design capability of complete electrical insulation from the outer frame of the safety barrier and mounting posts, which allows for the supply of electric current to the inner protective frame to provide an additional level of protection. Thus, the Cobra safety barrier provides comprehensive protection of the perimeter of the facility.
In addition, if necessary, the protective spikes on which the frame of the safety barrier is built can be equipped with additional protective elements in the form of coils of barbed wire and spikes of various shapes.
