Egoza Super Razor Wire Clips
Egoza Super razor wire is used in the production of the ZKR Kobra security barrier, and it must be fastened at the intersections. Usually, a galvanized metal wire clip is used to fasten the turns of barbed wire in the production of spiral security barriers. This wire is coated with a zinc anti-corrosion coating, has a low cost and fully justifies its use in spiral security barriers made of Concertina or Egoza barbed wire. At the same time, clips made of ordinary wire also have a number of disadvantages. The main one is that the wire clip is made of low-carbon steel and can be easily cut with a tool, thereby weakening the Kobra barrier structure.
The Cobra https://hostozon.com/en/travel-and-nature/cobra-evolution security barrier is a highly effective and highly reliable means of perimeter protection, and such a weak point in its design is simply unacceptable. Based on this, the design of the Cobra barrier uses a clip made of galvanized steel tape, the design of which was proposed by Tkachenko Yu.V. (Ukrainian patent No. 44848 E04H 17/00 F41H 11/00).

As can be seen in the figure, the clip is made of metal tape and in its initial state has dovetail-type ends on one side and one central whisker on the other side. When transferred to the working position, the central whisker on one side enters the groove formed by two whiskers on the other side. In this case, the whiskers are tightly mated with each other and the clip forms a ring without any external protrusions. The resulting ring firmly holds the rings of barbed wire together and eliminates the possibility of them being bitten or cut, as well as being opened with a knife blade or screwdriver.
